Earlier this week, one of my mentors used this analogy about the “refrigerator of life” and how important it is to take inventory of what’s in the “fridge”.
This morning as I was reviewing my notes, I came across a thought that continued with the idea of life being equivalent to a refrigerator.
And from there this concept has been swimming in my mind all day:
“You can have a fridge full of food, and still suffer from malnutrition.“
Take a minute to process that for a bit.
Our “fridge” can be full, yet we can still be empty. We can still be hungry. We can still lack the proper nutrition to increase the chances of living a healthy and happy life.
When’s the last time you took inventory?
When’s the last time you checked the expiration date on the food in your fridge?
What are you truly craving for, yet nothing you consume appears to quench your thirst?
Because it’s possible to eat, and still be hungry.
It’s possible to drink, and still be thirsty.
And it’s possible to be alive, and not really LIVING.
Love ya’ll.
